Success stories

Kuchurgan Power Station

The Kuchurgan power station is one of the largest power stations in Europe. In 2005, it became part of the Inter RAO UES Group, a diversified energy holding managing assets in Russia, Europe, and the CIS countries. BELTEL was awarded a project to reconstruct and upgrade telecommunications networks at the power station. The project involved the design and implementation of power supply systems and integrated security systems as well as the construction of a high-speed telephone network.


Belgorodenergo is a subsidiary of MRSK Center, the second largest Russian company in the distribution sector in terms of profitability. It is a leading Russian energy provider supplying electric power to thousands of homes and businesses in the Belgorod region in western Russia.

For nearly a decade, BELTEL has been implementing successful IT projects at Belgorodenergo. The projects include modernization and expansion of the company's Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) network, the development of a corporate communications network, and the design of a corporate contact center which provides outsourcing services to companies in the region.
